Clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast options were limited and could use more variety.

During my time at La Quinta By Wyndham Virginia Beach, I enjoyed the fresh, delicious breakfast and found the rooms clean and cozy. The friendly staff went out of their way to assist. some facilities need upgrades for an even better experience.

The room was spacious and clean, featuring a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. I appreciated the amenities like the microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine. The decor was pleasant, providing a nice atmosphere. the tub drainage was a concern, causing some inconvenience during showers. Noise from nearby children disrupted our pet, making the stay less relaxing. While the staff seemed unfriendly at times, the location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach. more thorough cleaning before check-in would improve the overall experience.

I loved being just a short 3-minute walk to the beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the sun and surf, plus it was fantastic to have so many great restaurants and shops within walking distance like Murphy's and Starbucks just around the corner. The hotel itself was clean and offered nice amenities like a refrigerator and coffee machine in the room, but the breakfast could use a bit more variety to really make it perfect.

Clean rooms and friendly staff make for a pleasant stay. The limited breakfast options could use improvement, and there's a $16 parking fee that surprised us.

Spacious, clean rooms just a block and a half from the boardwalk made for a great location. The staff was friendly, but the building desperately needs renovation—dirty elevators and dark halls were off-putting. Breakfast options were limited, and the WiFi was weak and intermittent. A filthy window and noisy elevators made for restless nights. Enjoyed the hot water and AC, but these conveniences didn’t outweigh the overall experience. Would look elsewhere for my next visit.

It was just a fine choice for a flash visit in Virginia Beach with good price value. Friendly staff made it great.

I couldn't believe how dirty our room was when we checked in. There were someone else's clothes in the bathroom, and the floor was covered in sand. It felt like no one bothered to clean at all. Just gross.

Great location and comfy rooms. Barking dogs were distracting at night.

The location was convenient, close to the beach and stores. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the lobby area had a welcoming atmosphere. The dove soap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom added a nice touch and made us feel comfortable during our stay.
The customer service was lacking, with slow check-in and unfriendly staff. The room was small and not well-maintained, with dingy bedding and a bathroom setup that caused water to flood the floor.

I had a blast enjoying the outdoor swimming pool and the close proximity to the beach! The staff was super friendly and made our stay feel special. Our room was spacious and comfy, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
Strongly recommend! ❤️🐾

The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. I appreciated the breakfast, fresh and hot, though I would have liked more hot options beyond waffles. Staff was quick and attentive, with a special nod to the front desk for their efficiency. the state of the room was concerning. There was debris in the bathroom, mold under the sink, and the air conditioning filter needed attention. Noise from neighboring rooms disturbed my rest, and the unexpected parking fee felt unreasonable. While the experience had its merits, cleanliness and maintenance must be prioritized.

I enjoyed the crashing waves. Free breakfast had my family satisfied. The central location made it easy for me to walk around.
Found leftover used washcloths in the shower. Minimal bathroom supplies.

the location was fantastic as it was only a couple of blocks away from the beach, making it convenient to enjoy the seaside activities. there were several dining options nearby, including a Harris Teeter, Subway, Taco Bell, and a pizza place, making it easy to grab a quick bite to eat without having to venture too far. there were some areas that could have been improved upon. The bathroom in the room was quite small, which made it a bit challenging to move around comfortably. I also wished there were more breakfast options available aside from just boiled eggs and waffles, as a bit more variety would have been nice. One major drawback was the parking situation. Although I paid for parking initially, I was relieved to receive a refund within a few business days. It was also mentioned that the hotel is dog-friendly, which could be problematic for those with allergies.

The hotel had an indoor/outdoor pool for the kids, a free breakfast, and was conveniently located just 2 blocks from the beach.
Felt very lucky, no complaint.

Families will love the proximity to Virginia Aquarium's Adventure Park, where kids can zipline amidst lush trees and picnic in a fun-filled environment. The hotel's location near Neptune Statue, the Marine Science Museum, and Ocean Breeze Waterpark offers endless water adventures like kayaking and surfing for an exciting family getaway.
My wife says that a children's play area would enhance the family experience.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the boardwalk. The staff was kind and helpful, and they kept the rooms clean. The pool had a great temperature, ideal for a relaxing swim during our romantic escape.
The mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable, leading to headaches and back pain. The breakfast area was messy, with limited options and items not adequately stocked.

My friends and I had a blast exploring the Virginia Beach Aquarium and hitting the waves near Neptune Statue. The staff were totally chill and helped us plan our water adventures – from kayaking to surfing!
Would be epic if there was a rad rooftop bar for the young crowd to party after a day of beach adventures! .

Choosing to visit the Virginia Beach Boardwalk was the highlight of my trip, which led me to select La Quinta for its ideal location. The attentive customer service agents pleasantly surprised me with their assistance and the variety of dining options, including Rudee's on the Inlet, was a delightful addition to my stay.
Lack of adequate housekeeping services.

The pet-friendly policy at La Quinta made traveling with my beloved pet Coco stress-free. I appreciated the renovated room and the light breakfast included. The staff was friendly, and I felt comfortable leaving Coco in the room while I was out. The only downside was the slightly hard pillows. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

Our stay at a beachfront hotel in Virginia Beach was amazing! The newly renovated room was modern and clean, with vinyl wood flooring perfect for our furry friend. The staff was accommodating and switched our room when we encountered a smoking odor. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the beach. The pet-friendly policy was a huge bonus, with pet amenities like poop bags provided. a great experience!
The cleanliness of the room. The rugs were visibly dirty and needed a deep clean.
